Since I was younger I have always had a tremendous creative side. Whether it was fueled through cooking, baking, painting or choosing which dress to wear next I have always needed that artistic outlet.
As I got older I followed my studies to clinical laboratory science and although the field is a great aid to patients and diagnostic teams, I quickly realized that it wasn’t the creative channel that I craved. Outside of work I started inspiration seeking and began to think more deeply about my passions. This inspiration seeking was my ammunition. I followed these passions to culinary school at Johnson & Wales and continued to delve deeper into all things food and beverages.
I cannot thank you enough for reading and following along in my journey. I have greatly enjoyed seeking a more creative and inspired life and this is just the beginning.
I am inspired by the change of seasons, finding a great new wine, discovering a new recipe to share, scoring vintage items, and trying new restaurants.
I also love interior design. My husband and I recently bought our first home and we have been slowly upgrading and updating. I am inspired by European architecture and French interiors with all of its simplistic beauty. I love rearranging spaces and adding a mix of unique vintage pieces with newer items that I have acquired. I enjoy perusing the local antique shops and searching Etsy shops to score vintage finds. Lately, I have been focused on gathering timeless items that will be loved for years to come and can be passed down generations.
I currently live in the south coast of Massachusetts with my husband, Jonathan, and our Labrador Retriever mix, Tucker. We love to visit Sakonnet Vineyards and love to take trips out to the Finger Lakes wine region in New York. We are so lucky to live in an area in between Boston and Providence where we can explore so many amazing restaurants and bars. In addition we love cooking and entertaining at our home with friends and family.
Thank you so much for reading my blog and I hope that it brings you motivation to live inspired. xo
